On August 29th, Brent’s Place supporters gathered for our 23rd annual invitational golf tournament. Presented by Real Estate Investment Advisors (REIA) and BOK Financial, this event was a chance for our community to connect on the links while raising money to support the heart-filled work of caring for families facing medical crisis.
As morning dawned, friends of Brent’s Place arrived, mingled, and warmed up on the driving range. One by one, golfers teed-off in honor of our families and headed onto Columbine Country Club’s beautifully manicured course. Out on the links, friends and colleagues were put to the test, both by the challenges of the course and Brent's Place trivia for the chance to receive an advantage farther down the course. After, players enjoyed cocktails and conversation while looking out over the greens.
Our sincere thanks to everyone who came out in support of Brent’s Place and the families in our care. From the 132 players to committee members, volunteers, and partners who helped us execute the tournament smoothly, your contributions made it an event to remember. We’d also like to extend our gratitude to our Silver and Bronze sponsors: Liberty Home Products, Alpine Bank, and Moody's Insurance Agency. Thanks to the generosity of our supporters, $158,000 was raised for families in need of compassionate care as they travel far from home in search of a medical miracle. This surpasses our fundraising goal by more than $25,000!
Avi Petrucci, External Affairs Coordinator for Brent’s Place summed up the event by saying, "We are extraordinarily appreciative of the support from our incredible community during this year's Invitational. Thank you, Columbine Country Club, our sponsors, and everyone who participated. Without all of your support and dedication, this event, which greatly benefits the families we serve, would not be possible. We truly enjoyed our time with you and are eagerly looking forward to next year! Here's to 25 more years of compassionate care at Brent's Place!"
