Family Reunion Updates For 2022

After a two-year hiatus, Block Party (formerly known as Kid’s Cure) is back and better than ever! With our 25th year of service underway, this prized community event returns for a very special Birthday Bash edition!

We wish we were able to honor this milestone alongside our traditional Family Reunion weekend, but due to unforeseen circumstances and continued public health concerns, we will not be hosting the Brent’s Place Family Reunion this year.

We’ll miss gathering our families together for the full weekend of activities, but we look forward to reconnecting with each of you that are able to join us at this year’s Block Party.

For those unable to cover the cost of travel, Brent’s Place has a needs-based travel fund able to offer financial support to families interested in attending this year’s Birthday Bash.

In order to accommodate as many out-of-state families as possible, Brent’s Place is only able to cover the cost of ONE hotel room - on Friday, July 22 - for families needing financial assistance. All hotel reservations will go directly through Brent’s Place, so if you need to stay for additional nights or need more than one room, please be sure to indicate this when registering for Block Party, and we will do our best to accommodate special requests. RSVPs requiring hotel accommodation must be submitted no later than July 9, 2022. Sadly we cannot guarantee that requests received after this date will be met.

To request a hotel room and additional travel assistance, please fill out this form. Please note, you will still need to RSVP for Block Party.

It’s important to us that no family miss Block Party due to financial difficulty. If you need additional travel assistance, please reach out to Allen Browning at abrowning@brentsplace.org or (720) 353-2956.

We hope you’ll be able to attend this quarter-century celebration and connect with friends, old and new. As we celebrate 25 years of compassionate care, we look forward to honoring the many families who have graced our halls and whose stories have touched our hearts. We hope to see you there!
