What to Expect

Thank you for taking the time to learn about Brent's Place and how we might be able to support you and your family during your time in Denver. Many prospective families are curious about our intake process and how families are identified to stay with us. Brent's Place works directly with hospital social workers to identify families who could use our help and creates a priority list based on that evolving need.

If you think we are a good fit for you and your family, please ask your hospital social worker to contact our Family Services team to discuss your needs and identify if we are an appropriate fit. If we are, we will give your social worker our application to pass along to you. Once we receive your application, a member of our Family Services team will reach out to discuss when a space will be available, schedule a check-in time, and answer any questions you might have.

During the check-in process, we will take some time to explain all of our support programs, answer any questions, and give you a tour of our facilities so you feel comfortable in your new home away from home.

If you have any questions, please contact our Family Support Director by calling 720-343-2956. We are here to help and look forward to speaking with you and your family.
