Kid’s Cure for Cancer

25 Jul 2015

On a warm Saturday, over 1,000 people congregated at General’s Park on Anschutz Campus to walk for hope and healing. It was a morning full of fun, joy, memories, and most importantly support for the Brent’s Place families. At 9am, the walk started and participants enjoyed an obstacle course provided by Fit Soldiers, a water station complete with giant water slide, a balloon tent filled with over 1000 balloons and beach balls, and a make your mark station where everyone could stop and write a message to all the families on campus in chalk! After the walk, participants were treated to the famous pancake breakfast provided by the Tamarac Optimist and could enjoy music, two different jumping castles, and an entire village of activities and games!

New this year was the flower ceremony. As the walked wrapped up, all the past Brent’s Place kids were invited up to the stage
