On April 13th, Brent’s Place took part in our 9th Dos Casas at Lola in the Highlands. This one of a kind evening always feels a little dreamlike. The food is practically indescribable, it is so delicious. The live music provided by “The Congress” always sets the stage for a perfect night. The margaritas and wine pours ensure that there is lots of laughter. Most importantly, 150 people come together to raise money for the families at Brent’s Place.
New this year were one of a kind created give aways by Mile High Workshop. Each guest was able to take home either a pine beetle coaster engraved with a Colorado flag mountain graphic and quote from The Kid President or a beautiful wood spoon engraved with “stir up some awesome.” Table hosts were able to take home a custom glass vase and adorable salad servers that said “Lettuce..stir up awesome.” Everyone loved their gifts. Thank you Hope Tank for making these amazing one of kind pieces possible. #brentsplace #beawesome
By the end of the evening, $45,000 had been raised and everyone in attendance was smiling and looking forward to next years!
None of this would have been possible without the 12 amazing chefs who donated their time. Thank you Jamey Fader of Lola, Sheila Lucero of Jax Fish House, Paul C. Reilly of Beast & Bottle, Alex Seidel of Fuition/Mercantile, Brandon Biederman of Ace, Keegan Gerhard of D Bar, Lisa Bailey of D Bar, Troy Guard of TAG, Goose Sorenson of Solera, Pete Marczyk of Marczyk’s Fine Foods, Paul Marczyk of Marczyk’s Fine Foods, Tyler Wiard of Elways, and Matt Selby.
With this years $45,000 raised, Dos Casas has contributed almost $300,000 to Brent’s Place in the past 9 years!
